92nd Street Y (92Y) says…

On September 12, 1609, Henry Hudson began his exploration of the Hudson River, leading to the establishment of the colony of New Amsterdam (later New York). Discover the existing remnants of that time period as you explore the oldest part of the city, including Fraunces Tavern, Federal Hall, the site of the Dutch City Hall and much more. Tour ends at City Hall. Meet on the steps of the Old Customs House at the foot of Broadway, south of Bowling Green Park.
