Sekou Sundiata
Wednesday Mar 3, 2010 (7:30–9pm)
Journey with us as we follow Sekou as he develops one of his most significant cultural and artistic projects.
Witness Sekou Sundiata’s groundbreaking theater that confronts, imagines and invents what it means to be American in the 21st century. This documentary reveals how this visionary poet, performer, educator and activist found “a way to see” through conversations in small scale public gatherings, in classrooms and in art centers.
The screening will be followed by a conversation between special guests and audience and a reception.
To RSVP for tickets, e-mail us at boxoffice@harlemstage.org or call 212.281.9240 ext. 19, 20.
