"I saw this at BAM's first Takeover event back in 2007 and it remains one of my favorite movie-going experiences of the decade (thank you, Jake Perlin!). With I Know Who Killed Me-stop, take a deep breath and repeat that title aloud; now do it again, slowly-director Chris Sivertson unleashes his outer Brian De Palma in the form of this stylishly bonkers noir thriller about Aubrey Fleming, a straight-laced high school student who is abducted one night by what appears to be one of the Blue Men Group, only to return as Dakota Moss, a cigarette smoking, pole-dancing vixen. Oh yeah, I guess you should probably know that both Aubrey and Dakota are played by none other than Lindsay Lohan. What makes I Know Who Killed Me a Misunderstood Gem is that I've seen it twice now and I still don't know if it's meant to be interpreted as a sincere thriller or a tongue-in-cheek riff on the genre. I'm hoping a post-film discussion-over drinks, please?-will give me some much-needed closure."—Michael Tully, writer/editor Hammer to Nail
