LINDA SIMPSON AND MURRAY HILL EXPAND BINGO EMPIRE WITH “LE BINGO!” EVERY SAT!
By popular demand, NYC’s favorite gender-bending Bingo team—ladylike LINDA SIMPSON and goodtime guy MURRAY HILL—is westwards ho! After several years of hosting wildly successful Bingo nights at various venues in the East Village, the duo is venturing west (almost six whole blocks!) to the live-music club Le Poisson Rouge for a new weekly game-night called—you guessed it—LE BINGO! (Linda and Murray speak zero French, but they do enjoy a classy pronoun.) The night debuts in the club’s cozy Gallery Bar on February 13th and continues every Saturday thereafter.
Once again it’s a chance for wisecracking Linda and Murray and their dazzling posse of downtown celebrity spokesmodels to give away a treasure trove of prizes—from discount-store delights to a nightly cash jackpot. As players compete they can enjoy a full bar and food menu (with Happy Hour prices from 6:30—7:30pm, hourly drink specials, and a nightly “Rock N’ Tots” special—a Rolling Rock beer and an order of tator tots).
Linda and Murray have all sorts of new twists and surprises in store for their Saturday night of fun, including interactive "challenge games" and prize-winning "secret numbers." But the basic format stays the same: Get five numbers in a row and you’re a Bingo winner. Or should we say Le Winner!
