Multimedia artists Ali Hossaini and the Sweatshoppe Collective aim to blow your mind with an exhibition that tells the history of cosmic evolution — from the Big Bang to Lady Gaga — by animating over 30,000 images into a holographic 3D environment. Ouroboros: The History of the Universe (curated by curated by Koan Jeff Baysa) includes work by Levy, Ali Hossaini, and Blake Shaw installed in Soho's progressive Ise Cultural Foundation. For those who enjoyed Avatar in theory if not in practice, visitors don 3D glasses to view seven channels of video in 2,000-square-feet of gallery space: a DIY IMAX with underpinnings of art, meditation, and the "mind-altering potential" of the moving image.
