“If rough language, nudity, or the remotely psychedelic/farcical may offend you: don't come to Avant-Garde-Arama. Also: you may not want to be friends with us anymore, because we heartily dig all of the above. The Wooster group pushes the envelope (and all of our buttons) with its annual festival of all things theatrical and experimental, from music to comedy, dance to short skits. The best of the weird invade PS 122 both Friday and Saturday; the only question that remains is, will you be with them?”
PS122's longest-running series, this multidisciplinary mini-festival features an exuberant and eclectic line-up of the wildest experimental performance shorts to be found in N.Y.C. With The Wooster Group curating the latest installment, one can expect an evening that will “simulate the effects of a finely graded hallucinogen on a hyper-intelligent brain”
– Ben Brantley The New York Times (on The Wooster Group)
