Headlined by culinary superstar David Chang, along with guest chefs from near and far, LuckyRice Festival celebrates Asian cuisine and culture via conversations, demonstrations, and of course, lots of eating and drinking. Venues include the Bowery Hotel and the Mandarin Oriental New York, and all of the events favor inventive takes on food and cocktails sure to expand your palate beyond the familiar territory of tea, sushi, and General Tso's. If you don't make it to the fest, LuckyRice Restaurant + Bar Week (May 3-9) has more than 50 restaurants serving up special Asian-influenced lunch and dinner menus.
