“For a musician who's been a bassist for Hole and the Smashing Pumpkins, and has toured with former Cars frontman Ric Ocasek, we've come to expect a lot from Melissa Auf der Maur. In her highly anticipated second solo album, OOOM, Auf der Maur combines all of her wide-ranging talent and interests to deliver a multi-media package including film, music and comics to please connoisseurs the alt-world over. Her second album also features a striking duet with legend Glenn Danzig. In a culture that increasingly thrives on hybrid entertainment products, we think Auf der Maur may just be hitting her stride. Melissa Auf der Maur presents her newest solo multimedia project Out of Our Minds (OOOM) in its entirety. Fans will start with an essential component of OOOM, a screening of the 28-minute, HD film starring and conceived by MAdM under the direction of Tony Stone followed by a Q&A with Melissa, Tony and the cast. The evening will also feature an interactive presentation of the comic book and a performance by Melissa of a stripped down set of songs from the OOOM album.
