Performance Space 122 says…

MAKE A SPLASH. Help us reach 50K by midnight TONIGHT!
We are entering a critical and momentous year at Performance Space 122 and we need your help. We are preparing for our 30th Anniversary Season!

In order to secure the 2010-2011 budget and bring you another year of performance you will never forget, we have 3 challenges we must meet before end of business day on Wednesday, June 30th!

Every dollar you give now will be matched one-to-one up to the challenge amounts!

1. TestPerformanceTest Challenge: $25,000

Help support our entire Dance Season including works by master choreographer Ishmael Houston-Jones and break-out choreographers Jack Ferver, Heather Kravas, Lewis Forever, Amanda Loulaki and the Iver Findlay/Diane Madden collaboration. That's artist and production support for more than 50 dancers, choreographers, and technical artists.

2. Anonymous Donor Challenge: $10,000
Help us take a key capacity-building step by hiring a new staff member who will support our programming and capital growth over the next 3 years as we undergo an interior renovation of our theaters in 2011-2013.

3. Tim Miller & Every House Has a Door Residencies Challenge: $15,000
The National Performance Network provides partners like PS122 with 42% of the financing for our NPN Performance Residencies. Help us raise a portion of the other 58% and bring PS122 co-founder Tim Miller and long time PS122 friends (former Goat Island members) Lin Hixon and Matthew Goulish back to New York City to premiere their new shows!

***TOTAL CHALLENGE: $50,000***

Why is it so important to give now?

Your gift is more important than ever because this year the City, State and Institutional arts support is projected to suffer further dramatic cuts. Despite these looming threats, we are committed to bringing you one of the most exciting seasons in Performance Space 122's 30-year history.

We are committed to properly supporting the 65+ companies who will cross our stage next year, to providing affordable tickets for the more than 25,000 audience members who will attend shows next year, and to bringing you the most provocative and innovative live art from across the globe. We are also committed to developing a long-term solution to the continual and persistent crises in arts funding.

Please be part of our solution by contributing now!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE SUPPORT YOU HAVE SHOWN PERFORMANCE SPACE 122! This year, this decade, these last three decades, and hopefully for another 30 years to come!
