“Nothing says joie de vivre quite like bubbles. And while we'd prefer the celebration take place a bit further from tourist central, at least we get to reclaim Times Square for an evening in Newmindspace's epic Bubble Battle. (Very) loosely based on Dr. Seuss' The Butter Battle Book (where Yooks and Zooks battled it out based on toast-consuming preferences), bubble warriors descend on Times Square — at the red steps at 47th and Broadway, to be exact — en masse at 6pm for an all-out war. Last year, more than 1,500 bubblers battled, so expect an onslaught of fun. BYO bubbles and join the fray.”

Millions of bubbles fly through the air as we converge in Times Square for a magical bubble battle! Loosely based on the Dr. Seuss Classic The Butter Battle Book. Bring bubble toys, bubble generators, bubble solution, and plenty of AA batteries :) We will meet in Times Square, fill our weapons and pull the trigger! Last year over 1,500 people came to take over Times Square and disseminate joy by the bubbles per minute. Be creative with your contraptions and take sides: butter side up or butter side down!
