“Watching two adult naked men contort their private parts into such amazing "installations" as "The Slowly-Emerging Crustacean," "The Sombrero" and "The Wristwatch" for an hour? Entertaining. Watching a middle-aged woman go on stage with said naked men during the audience participation segment? Priceless. At a recent show, the volunteer was a woman named Denise who, when asked how the view was when one performer suddenly did a handstand placing his "genital origami" inches from her face, replied "It's perfect!" earning the biggest laugh of the night. The female comedians who open for the guys are hilarious in their own right.”

Puppetry of the Penis was born when Simon Morley teamed up with fellow puppeteer David "Friendy" Friend. Their first show at the 1998 Melbourne International Comedy Festival was received as the "Outright Best Show". Natural sibling rivalry resulted in the evolution of a grand repertoire of genital gesticulations. After working for many years as a comedy promoter working some of Australia’s funniest people, Simon finally felt he had something just as funny lingering in his pants.
