“Take a drive up the Hudson today for a day of art and music in Beacon. This artistic outpost unveils Electric Windows, which covers the 19th-century electric-blanket factory and two other buildings there with art from a bevy of renowned folks — including Bigfoot, Faust, Chris Stain, and Ron English. All the installations take place that day, and in addition to live art, the fest features live music, food vendors, and screen-printing. A perfect day's escape from the city.”

Electric Windows says:
OPEN SPACE gallery and Burlock Home present Electric Windows 2010. 30 artists will converge in Beacon, NY to create live artwork and have their work installed on the exterior of a 19th century factory building. Electric Windows draws its name from the former electric blanket factory at the foot of Mount Beacon that will act as the backdrop for the event.
