Time for Change isn't just a bunch of hippies sounding off on An Inconvenient Truth. The documentary follows journalist Daniel Pinchbeck as he tries to find/establish a new, 21st-century mindset that looks for spirituality within evolution and environmentalism. Along the way, he meets with luminaries like David Lynch, Sting, Ellen Page, and Shiva Rea, who each share their own opinions. Following tonight's special screening, director João Amorim joins Sting, Pinchbeck, Paul Stamets, Tiokasin Ghosthorse, and Ganga White for a panel discussion.

SVA Theater says…

Time for Change says:

Directed by Emmy Award nominee João Amorim, this provocative documentary film follows journalist and bestselling author Daniel Pinchbeck on a quest for a new paradigm that integrates the ancient wisdom of tribal cultures with modern science. An optimistic alternative to apocalyptic doom and gloom, 2012 heralds the birth of a regenerative planetary culture where collaboration replaces competition, where exploration of psyche and spirit becomes the new cutting edge, replacing the sterile materialism that has pushed our world to the brink. Starring: Sting, David Lynch, Ellen Page, Gilberto Gil, Paul Stamets, Shiva Rea, Michael Dorsey, Tiokasin Ghosthorse, Ganga White and Barbara Marx Hubbard.
