Ana Torrent, here a few years older than The Spirit of the Beehive but no less charming, stars as an orphan who believes she may be responsible for her father's death. Living with her two sisters, their aunt and crippled grandmother, Ana continues to be fascinated by death. A beloved film that took the Special Jury Prize Award at the 1976 Cannes Film Festival, Cría Cuervos contains many memorable scenes including the girls singing along to the pop song "Porque te vas" by Jeanette.
