“Marc Wolf's performance in his one-man show Another American: Asking and Telling is revelatory. As he inhabits the voices of dozens of people he interviewed on the topic of the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, he flows from male to female, gay to straight, young to old with eerie ease. The powerful script is verbatim from his interviews, and ranges from a gay soldier raped because of his homosexuality to a WWII general saying that gays will always disrupt the "teamwork" of the battlefield. The show is a living history and an incredibly insightful look at a charged topic.”
