A secon chance explores the first year's emotional struggles faced by a widower and a divorcee who meet in mid-life. As the delight they find in each other shifts from a welcome respite to a vital part of every day, they are drawn toward the possibility of creating a new life together, something neither one knew if they would be fortunate enough to find again. Presented with the overwhelming challenge of freeing themselves from their painful pasts, will the couple endure?
