Cedric Watson & Bijou Creole recently burst onto the world scene from the heart of Cajun and zydeco culture, Lafayette, LA. Already twice Grammy-nominated, Cedric Watson has stayed particularly close to his cultural roots, reviving Creole fiddle playing for the 21st Century and singing in French, while also applying his musical wits to the diatonic accordion and injecting his own bluesy originals into the repertoire. His band, Bijou Creole, includes both seasoned legends and and talented newcomers in the local culture.
