Last year's first-ever stateside version of France's Le Grand Fooding set NYC chefs against their Parisian counterparts. This time, the competition stays in American territory, with a bevy of high-profile chefs from New York (David Chang, Dan Barber, April Bloomfield) and San Francisco (Daniel Patterson, Jeremy Fox, Melissa Perello) engaging in a friendly round of gastronomic rivalry via creations dished up in PS1's courtyard. Proving, however, that France isn't entirely out of the mix, pizza is paired with Rhône wine, and Veuve Clicquot flows freely. Eating and drinking sans guilt is ensured as proceeds from ticket sales go to Action Against Hunger.
