“Last year's first-ever stateside version of France's Le Grand Fooding set NYC chefs against their Parisian counterparts. This time, the competition stays in American territory, with a bevy of high-profile chefs from New York (David Chang, Dan Barber, April Bloomfield) and San Francisco (Daniel Patterson, Jeremy Fox, Melissa Perello) engaging in a friendly round of gastronomic rivalry via creations dished up in PS1's courtyard. Proving, however, that France isn't entirely out of the mix, pizza is paired with Rhône wine, and Veuve Clicquot flows freely. Eating and drinking sans guilt is ensured as proceeds from ticket sales go to Action Against Hunger.”
Note:
Advance tickets are sold out, but Le Fooding is offering Flavorpill readers an exclusive discount for Friday night! Get a ticket for just $35.
Sample the much-anticipated recipes created by Le Fooding’s premier chefs from New York and San Francisco, all paired with Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label champagne, bien sûr! NYC restaurants: Momofuku Ssam Bar, Torrisi, Pulino's, Pizza Moto, Blue Hill, Seersucker, Vinegar Hill House, DB Bistro Moderne, Please Don't Tell, and the Spotted Pig.
