“JellyNYC was responsible for a series of pool parties this summer, but Queer Art Impact and underground promoter and party-thrower extraordinaire Adam Aleksander are teaming up for a very different experience: Les Salonnieres. The most remarkable difference is that there's water. Tonight's Pool Party is at a functioning pool (albeit a secret one; ticket holders get an email disclosing the location the day before), so pack your trunks or wear a bikini beneath your clothes. Our favorite tricksters in Williamsburg, HiChristina, are in charge of the pool games. Ventiko runs a photo booth, while Matt Mikas sketches portraits and Christina Casey contributes her own live art. DJ Miss Bliss creates a sockhop vibe with '50s tunes; two free cocktails from mixologist Todd Richman should loosen you up enough to take a spin or a dip.”
