The Met presents this film directed by Nina Paley to accompany the special exhibition Epic India: Scenes from the Ramayana, on view through September 27. "Sita Sings the Blues" is an animated film that creates parallels between the heroine of the Ramayana and the personal life of the director (82 min.). The screening will take place in the Bonnie J. Sacerdote Lecture Hall in the Uris Center for Education at 2 p.m.
