“We're always excited to know what Marcel Dzama's been up to, so his new exhibit "Behind Every Curtain," at David Zwirner has us hanging at the edge of our seat. The exhibit features a new film, A Game of Chess, which explores the relationship betweent the game of chess and artistic practice. Also in the exhibit are Dzama's related drawings, sculptures, and dioramas in the Dada-esque language we're used to. Opening the same night is Michael Riedel's exhibit "The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over the Lazy Dog." Come for the opening, and if you miss that, catch the two artists at a book signing on Saturday March 5 from 4-6pm. Or just take it in one afternoon at your own pace.”
