“This is the fifth winter the FRIGID Festival is spotlighting North American artists specializing in originality. More than 25 shows are presented at Horse Trade's Kraine, Red Room, and UNDER St. Marks. There's something for literally everyone, including a puppet version of Paradise Lost. For gamers, there's a live-action version of The Oregon Trail. Burlesque queen Cherry Pitz (Cyndi Freeman) explains how Wonder Woman changed her life, and Una Aya Osato discovers her identity in JapJAP. More tough dames are part of the updated noir Scarlet Women, while audiences are both the participants and the "we" under discussion in We Might Be Experimenting on You.”
