“We've teamed up with curators Derrick B. Harden & Laura O'Reilly and local nightlife icon Roxy Cottontail to present this unique exhibition, which looks at NYC nightlife through the lenses of three different artists. Stephanie Podasca's speech-bubble paintings will be completed live at the opening, using overheard dialogue from attendees, while gallery owner Ryan Keeley's pieces focus on the more provocative aspects of a night out. With each artist tackling a different conceptual time frame, Kaitlyn Stubbs completes the the trio with disorienting photorealistic work spotlighting the comedown as the morning breaks. Roxy Cottontail provides the soundtrack to it all, and the late-night hours of the gallery perfectly reflect the theme.”
