“Responding to the sense that 9/11 is underrepresented in the cultural discourse, MoMA PS1 presents September 11, a group show that commemorates the events of 9/11 with a collection of works exploring the events' far-reaching consequences and eschewing images of the event itself, and artwork made directly in response. The show includes 70 works by 41 artists including William Eggleston, Alex Katz, Christo, Diane Arbus, John Chamberlain, and Yoko Ono and John Lennon for a look at how the event has altered the way we see the world.”
