“Ten years after high-school graduation, Vince, a slacker pot dealer, is hosting a reunion in a Lansing Motel 6 with his old friend Jon, an aspiring filmmaker in town for his film's premiere at a festival. But Vince has a hidden agenda to open old wounds and bring about some dramatic closure regarding Amy, the girl they both liked back in senior year. Stephen Belber's Tape is a riveting one-act and the three-person cast is uniformly excellent. The show raises intriguing questions regarding victimhood, power, accusations, and memory and keeps you surprised through the final scene.”
