“In celebration of the bicentennial of the birth of Charles Dickens, the Morgan Library & Museum presents Charles Dickens at 200 a vast exhibit of many original illustrations, photographs, and personal effects that once belonged to the literary icon. Among his inkwell and seals, his effects include other rare items like a letter appealing to "fallen women" to enter a home he had established for their well-being, a print by William Hogarth, and a document he produced for a walking match he held between his friends. The exhibition captures the life and art of Dickens in a way you've most likely not seen before.”
