This New York trio of improvisers includes Martha Colburn, Sean Lennon, and Greg Saunier. Wild and hallucinatory, recent performances have featured Colburn manipulating clips drawn from her own animated films and vérité documentation of street events; Lennon brandishing his guitar in a fashion that might surprise those more familiar with his delicate solo work; and a pummeling Saunier fanning Lennon’s flames in an almost telepathic fashion.
