“It's time again for our favorite wintertime street race involving people strapped to shopping carts wearing outlandish costumes. Modeled after the Alaskan dog-sled competition, the Idiotarod typically has a start, an end, and a few check points in between. With the exception of food throwing, which is strictly prohibited, it's basically a free-for-all where the most cunning and crafty are rewarded with prizes and glory. This year's timely Mayan theme is armageddon, so think of it as the race to end all races. If you'd like to get in on the hysteria, you need to email organizer Lord R. McGeddon (ClanMcGeddon@gmail.com). Teams need to bring their own cart and will be notified of the starting location the night before.
