As the saying goes, ignorance is bliss, which could be a reason to bypass Mike Daisey's well-played indictment of, uh, we mean, one-man show about Apple. A brilliant teller of tales, Daisey has been in the monologue-delivering business for nearly 15 years. His narratives blend the personal with the historical and political, and are at once hilarious and heartbreaking. For his Spalding Gray-esque The Agony and Ecstasy of Steve Jobs, Daisey, a self-proclaimed Apple superfan, takes the audience on a harrowing and vigorous two-hour journey that illustrates a less-than-rosy picture of where our beloved iPhones come from. Recommended viewing not only for its artistic merit, but also its important eye-opening social commentary; act swiftly if you want to catch this bugger, it's only rebooting for a limited run.
