Analog Fire is the rare-these-days electronic band with a live show that actually blows away any and all pre-conceived expectations. Tonight, expect the energy to be high as they blow the roof (and the floor) off of Santos in celebration of Discobedience, their collection of high-powered remixes for the likes of Austra. Joining them and their frankly amazing array of supporting acts is a world-class visual presentation to explode your disco-loving mind.

Santos Party House says…

Since 2009, Analog Fire has surpassed their humble roots playing sets with a small laptop and synth in Brooklyn bars. Their sound has formed from loops and funk guitar into a grooving and airy high end with a hard pounding rhythmic basis. The duo, comprised of producers Seemless (Eno Freedman Brodmann) and Electronight (Gregory Louisy) have headlined venues and clubs from Brooklyn to Berlin including a collaboration with Grammy Nominated Genji Siraisi of Groove Collective and supported ‘The Do’ on their international tour. They have been on the final call lists to open for ‘Passion Pit, ‘Ratatat’ and ‘Miike Snow’ amongst others. At their start, they played with a live band after their release of their full length LP ‘Audio Delicious’ in 2009 and a short east coast tour but soon after began exploring the club and party scene, remixing and mixing their music into DJ sets at a plethora of venues making their mark on dance floors across the east coast. Their sound has been described as somewhat caught in between Whitest Boy Alive and Passion Pit, although their new sound takes a large amount of inspiration from Miami DJ ‘Amtrac’ and Canada’s ‘Crystal Castles’. Their music video in collaboration with Lower East Side rapper ‘E.L.I.T.E.’ earned them over fourteen thousand views on youtube in less than a week and a spot in ‘The Daily Stamford’. They have had praise on blogs such as 201 Beats, Vents Magazine, Flavorpill, My Music Crush and more. Their newest release ‘DISCOBEDIENCE’ is a collection of remixes done for ‘Austra’, ‘Blip Blip Bleep’, ‘Trevor Tunison’, ‘Spencer Hyde’, ‘Quilty’ and LA’s ‘El Super’. Their new sound has been complemented with a complete graphics package by Illinois’ electronic and design talent Connectedness Locus with a special live visual experience by Liz Tolson and custom lightshows to match the music. This will be the duo’s fourth release after ‘Audio Delicious’, ‘Refill: Remixes’, and ‘Mirrors”.
