For the third winter, Glyndor Gallery is transformed into studio spaces for artists to develop new work and offer opportunities for public interaction in the context of the garden. Individual artists in the first Winter Workspace session (January 3–February 12) share their studio practice with the public on this open studio day. Artists include Carrie Beckmann, Danielle Durchslag, Sabrina Gschwandtner, Nick Lamia and Adam Parker Smith. Take it from Nick Lamia: "I was invited to use a studio in Glyndor House at Wave Hill for six weeks this winter. It has been a productive and inspirational time, albeit too short! Anyone who has been here knows it is a terrific place, with amazing trees, great greenhouses and beautiful grounds. I've been drawing both abstract and representational imagery, focusing on trees, bird's nests and dead flies (!)." Come see for yourself! Winter Workspace Open Studios are free with admission to the grounds.
