“A funny, offbeat, and thoroughly entertaining new rock musical, LoveSick arrives just in time to be a perfect Valentine's date. The cast of 14 all do double duty as musicians/singers and actors in seven short scenes ranging from an investment banker sorting out a business deal with a prostitute to a suicide hotline operator scoring a date with a caller. Best of all is a groom confessing his love to his best man in an elevator about to plummet, only to find themselves safe but awkward. The two then perform a boy band parody so well executed it borders on tribute.”
