“Whispering sweet nothings is all well and good, but Heineken is taking things up a notch. Its new Facebook app allows you to actually serenade potential paramours, being as suave, witty, or silly as you like. To celebrate the launch and put some extra love in the air, Flavorpill is hosting a Heineken Serenade Happy Hour on Thursday, February 9. Comedian Dave Hill, Spank Rock's DJ Ghostface, and a live karaoke band will perform and host a round of live serenades — so if you've got your eye on someone, now is officially your time to shine. And, the best serenade of the night will win $1,000, which should be plenty to cover a legendary date or two. Of course, Heineken will be on tap, and we'll also have a live stream of Heineken Serenades coming in from all over the world. Don your dapper best, ladies and gents: you never know when inspiration — or temptation — may strike.”
