“A few years ago at the Armory Show, we went a little crazy and tried to take in 100 works of art in 100 minutes. We may not be so bold this year (the show's 14th), but the offerings are no less impressive. Over on the piers, you'll find both a contemporary and a modern wing, featuring works from thousands of artists and hundreds of galleries worldwide. The scale alone can be at times overwhelming, but there's simply no show (even in this week of endless art shows) that has the breadth of the Armory. If you're an arthound, or want to fancy yourself one, this is the place.”
