Occasionally something comes along that sends Flavorpill central into a rabid ticket-buying frenzy. So it was with the news that Kraftwerk are performing their entire back catalogue at MoMA over the course of eight nights in April, starting with 1974's Autobahn on Tuesday April 10 and concluding a week later with 2003's Tour de France on Tuesday April 17. Anyone who's been lucky enough to see the German electronic pioneers live before will know that projections and visuals are a crucial part of their stage show, and the MoMA environment promises to allow them to explore all sorts of ideas in this area — the press release for the shows promises a "synthetic retrospective, present[ing] simultaneously and in one location the complex layers of music, sound, videos, sets, and performance as a total work of art." We're not entirely sure what that all means, but by golly, we can't wait to find out.
