Neo-tribal masked London producer SBTRKT comes co-signed by no less a pop name than Toronto R&B rapper Drake and no less a hip-hop icon than secretive auteurs Shabazz Palaces — both of whom have appeared on SBTRKT tracks — and his super-crisp, omnivorous take on post-dubstep bass music has encompassed remixes and collaborations with everyone from Little Dragon on up to Radiohead. Whether folding in keen guest vocalists or going solo, SBTRKT creates clean, echoing, gracefully interlocking environments of rhythm and sound, full of dark corners, deep bass wells, and bright lights at the end of every long tunnel.

The Bowery Presents says…

The enigmatic masked producer known as SBTRKT appeared on the scene in 2009 with two independently released 12-inches, and praise for his soulful blending of atmospheric house, syncopated dubstep and warped garage spread quickly throughout the international electronic community. Soon revealed to be the moniker of UK broken beat mainstay Aaron Jerome, SBTRKT was later commissioned for remixes by the likes of Basement Jaxx and drafted for collaborations with Sinden, Sampha and Jessie Ware to name a few. On June 27, 2011, Young Turks is slated to release his eponymous debut full-length.
