PopRally DFA Dance Party

- Saturday night at the MoMA was straight out of a Technicolor fever dream. The interior walls, usually an austere white, glowed pink and green by the light of a Dan Flavin installation, which was part of the museum's newest, not-yet-public exhibition, Color Chart. While DFA DJs Juan MacLean and T&T pumped out the jams from the rainbow-striped stage, many drunken dancers abandoned the floor to elbow their way through the open bar line — that is, until it ran out of alcohol around midnight. But who needs fancy African rum when there's a whole floor full of Twister? We don't (even though we lost every game we played). (Words: Myla DalBesio) Read the event preview.
