In the tradition of the Kitchen, Tonic, and a host of long-lost East Village institutions, resonant art is (Le) Poisson Rouge's guiding light. Its back bar/gallery hosts a range of innovative, old-school, and up-and-coming artists, while its performance space remains poised on the outer edge. On any given night, the club is deftly snatching the world's most innovative artists out of obscurity.
