Editor's Note
If anyone ever said more than two guitars in a band was too many, Tennessee's Diarrhea Planet never got that memo. Four of the punk/metal/general kickass group's six members wield axes, at some times dueling and others melding into surprisingly beautiful, intricate harmonies and melodies. It might sound overwhelming, but in their capable fingers such typically over-showy antics become transcendent. Their live show is, appropriately, riveting and tons of fun, confirmed by nearly every music site (including Pitchfork and Brooklyn Vegan) as being one of the best nights to spend in a crowd. They stop by Bowery to try out new tracks and play through old favorites, getting everyone sweaty and blissed-out.
