Win Butler and crew are in the home stretch of their tour in support of Reflektor. The album, which came out last October, is one the group’s best and debuted at #1 on Billboard. It’s success has sailed them through a monstrous 2014 tour which has spanned North America, South America and Europe. Tonight, they take to the stage at Barclays Center for the third night of their Brooklyn stay. Concert goers are encouraged to don formal attire to the spectacle. Be sure to show up early, the openers are just as good at the headliner. Frenzy generating wizard Dan Deacon kicks off the night and is followed by The Unicorns. Recently reunited, The Unicorns are testing the musical waters. The band, which originally hail from Montreal and feature Nick Thorburn and Alden Penner, re-issued their critically acclaimed 2003 album Who Will Cut Our Hair When We’re Gone? at the end of July. They are currently taking one day at a time, so their shows opening for Arcade Fire could be your only chance to see them. And making this Sunday show extra special is the addition of seminal rock band Television.
