Editor's Note

One of Brooklyn Zine Fest's greatest selling points isn't necessarily all the awesome and quirky publications you can browse, but the energy that fills the room. It's your chance to surround yourself with ambitious, creative folks who decided to go out and do it themselves. And, the spirit can be infectious. Approximately 150 writers, artists and publishers from New York and beyond are expected, and each day features a different set of exhibitors, so you may want to stop by for both. In addition to checking out everyone's wares, you can also attend talks on queer and trans zinesters, zine collecting, and the drawbacks/benefits of outing yourself in the zine universe.
