Beautiful women. A nine piece live band. And singing that moves you in many, many ways. Welcome to Burlesque to Broadway, Quinn Lemley's extravaganza of showstopping tunes from the great American songbook that combines rock and Broadway with the art of seduction. Burlesque to Broadway is a touring spectacular that makes its way home to New York for one week only. These girls have more energy than Times Square though as the dance numbers are well choreographed and singing is excellent. This is not the burlesque you'd find in places like Wasabassco, more of a PG-13 version that teaches as much as entertains. Quinn is the star of the show and the whole show is a history and celebration of Burlesque (corny jokes and all). Members of the audience are shown how to shimmy and the fun of the show depends on how much the audience wants to match the energy of the performers, which is immense. This is not new burlesque but a fun, well choreographed celebration of how women succeeded using burlesque through history.
