Editor's Note

When Fountain launched during Armory Arts Week eight years ago, it was the fair wearing an etsy-purchased dress among a sea of suits. Having grown up and out since, Fountain's fun, renegade spirit remains its hallmark. This year, the three-day fair returns to the 69th Regiment Armory, the historic site of the first Armory Show in 1913, and promises an array of eye-opening artwork and installations. With a new director at its helm, Elizabeth Tully, and over 100 international galleries, artists and performers expected to participate, this year's fair should rival year's past. Stay tuned for more details on the fair's exhibitors, performances and fabulous soirees.
