Rooftop Films has had one heck of a summer. From its sneak preview screenings of Obvious Child and Cold in July, to its parade of SXSW festival favorites, and epic appearance by Jarvis Cocker for a post-screening Q&A and karaoke contest, there has been much to write home about. But sadly, all good things must come to a conclusion, and tonight marks the hit series's grand finale. Going out as it came in, with a shorts program, the Rooftop curators have lined-up nine gems. In the mix are Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner Of Gods and Dogs, Lucy Walker's The Lion's Mouth Opens, and The Missing Scarp, narrated by George Takei. Brooklyn's own indie rock stars ARMS perform before the screening and a party sponsored by New Amsterdam Spirits, Bulleit Bourbon, Sixpoint and Talenti Gelato takes place after.
