Learn about beer’s beginnings at this special culinary event hosted by archaeological experts. Patrick McGovern, who is also been called the “Indiana Jones of ancient ales, wines and extreme beverages,” and brewing scholar Kevin Cullen, have recreated upwards of 25 ancient fermented beverages from around the world. Tonight, they serve up archaeological evidence proving our fermented past dates back many thousands of years. Guest are treated to samples of ancient ales courtesy of Dogfish Head, and Whole Foods Market provides accompanying tastings.
