Indulging in Brooklyn's best culinary offerings is possible to do in one evening thanks to Social Fix (formerly Brooklyn Exposed) and their annual Tasting Brooklyn buffet blowout. Now in its fourth year, this foodtacular celebrates Brooklyn's diverse food and dining culture by showcasing the edible goods of 30 eateries and drinkeries across the borough. Featuring both the established and the new, this year's culinary treats come from places such as Luke's Lobster, Lavender Lake, Dinosaur BBQ, Alice's Arbor, The Pines and 1 Knickerbocker. And this isn't purely a gluttonous affair, part of the proceeds go towards Slow Food New York City, a non-profit organization founded in 1989 to counteract the culture of fast food.
