Eastern SoMa is quickly evolving into SF's de facto museum district, anchored by the relatively established Yerba Buena Center and SFMOMA and embellished by nearly a dozen smaller collections. Today's admission-free celebration invites museum-hoppers to explore the neighborhood's mainstays as well as some of the lesser-known galleries, including the GLBT Historical Society and the Society of California Pioneers.
