No matter how many motion sickness bags or ear plugs you have on hand, tonight's decidedly stomach-turning and mind-bending miasma of harsh sounds and harsher visuals is sure to be a bum trip of the best kind. Demons — the duo of Nate Young (Wolf Eyes) and Steve Kenney (Isis) — provide appropriately evil junkyard-synthesizer accompaniment to Alivia Zivich's abyss-mal video feeds. Tarantism (Sharkiface vs Anti-Ear) present their latest exercise in a/v abrasion, The Black Tar of Midnight. And noise-scene heavy Scott Arford unleashes a stroboscopic assault like a self-immolating rave. Remember, the "live" in "live cinema" is really "evil" spelled backwards.
