Performing Arts: Comedy The Jesus Roast

To paraphrase Bart Simpson, the holidays are a time when people from all religions get together to worship Jesus Christ. In the case of Comedy Noir, the season is also a time to get together and mercilessly rib Jesus (no pun intended). Kicking off this series of roasts of famous historical figures, the Jesus Roast gathers many of the King of King's best frienemies (played by a bevy of local comedic talent), such as Fred Durst, Pontius Pilot, Joan Rivers, and Judas, for some good fun in bad taste. To quote another oft-cited bad boy, Hamlet: "I must be cruel, only to be kind."
