Music Ya Ho Wa 13 w/ Entrance, Ascended Master, and Sky Sunlight Saxon of the Seeds

Perhaps sensing a cosmic alignment, or at least a swelling of fascination, Ya Ho Wa 13 regroup for this unprecedented performance. The band orignally rose from the ranks of the Source Family, a group of long-haired spiritual seekers who channeled higher vibrations and ran a hip vegetarian restaurant in '70s Los Angeles, under the guidance of a charismatic guru known as Father Yod. Yod's exhorting center-stage presence will be missed (he died in a hang-gliding accident in 1975), though his "eternal now" message may yet find expression in the band's Dionysian jams. Sky Sunlight Saxon sought the Source out, too, and he joins the bill to run through some of his Nuggets classics with the Seeds. Bridging the decades is Entrance, the wailing shaman behind last year's psych-blues opus, Prayer of Death.
